报告人简介:

陈丽贞博士,北京计算科学研究中心特聘副研究员,2011年获得厦门大学博士学位,师从许传炬教授和沈捷教授,博士后期间先后与罗礼诗教授、王奇教授、包维柱教授合作。研究兴趣主要为计算流体力学的谱元方法及并行算法设计和程序实现。

 

报告摘要:

In this paper, we consider the numericalapproximations for solving a hydrodynamically coupled three componentsCahn-Hilliard phase field model. How to develop linear and second ordernumerical schemes while preserving the energy stability at the discrete levelhas been a challenging issue for the phase field type model. We develop twosecond order temporal approximation schemes based on a novel ``Invariant EnergyQuadratization'' approach for the Cahn-Hilliard equation, the projection methodfor the Navier-Stokes equations, and a subtle implicit-explicit treatment forthe stress and convective terms. Rigorous proofs of the well-posedness of thelinear system and the unconditional energy stabilities are provided. We furtherpresent various 2D and 3D numerical simulations to demonstrate the stabilityand the accuracy of the schemes.
