牛冬娟，2006年毕业于香港中文大学，现任首都师范大学数学科学学院教授，博导。主要研究不可压缩Navier-Stokes方程及相关流体模型解的适定性及渐近行为以及边界层问题等。在国际知名期刊SIAM Journal on Mathematical Analysis、IndianaUniv. Math. J.等发表多篇学术论文。主持国家自然科学基金面上项目两项，参加重点基金一项。
报告摘要：
In this talk, we investigate the global well-posedness of 2-D Boussinesq system,which has variable kinematic viscosity yet without thermal conductivity and buoyancyforce, provided that the viscosity coefficient sufficiently close to somepositive constant in L∞. In addition, the decay estimate ofthe velocity fields is also obtained. It is a joint work with Lu Wang.
