王国亮，北京理工大学教授、博导，2010年毕业于南开大学组合数学中心，后于北京大学和以色列海法大学从事博士后工作，2014年入职北京理工大学，曾访问MIT一年。研究方向是代数组合学，兴趣包括组合多项式序列的根几何、图的染色对称函数的正性问题等。
报告摘要：
Motivated by Stanley and Stembridge's 3+1 conjecture on the e-positivity of chromatic symmetric functions of certain graphs, and by Dahlberg, She, and van Willigenburg's conjecture on the e-positivity of certain trees, we present the disordered phenomenon on the e-positivity of spider graphs of 3 legs and recent progress on that of 4 legs.
