林启忠，福州大学教授，博士生导师。2009年7月毕业于同济大学数学系，获理学博士学位。学位论文获上海市优秀博士学位论文奖。于2014.08-2015.08在美国加州大学圣地亚哥分校（UCSD）访学一年。研究内容主要包括图的Ramsey理论及相关极值图论问题，涉及Szemeredi正则引理、概率方法、代数构造等。解决或者渐进解决了Faudree，Rousseau和Sheehan等人提出的多个问题，改进了Bondy和Erdos的一个结果。主持3项国家自然科学基金项目，其中面上2项。
报告摘要：
In 1983, Burr and Erdos initiated the study of Ramsey goodness problems. Nikiforov and Rousseau (2004, 2009) obtained extremely general goodness results, in which the bounds on the parameters are of tower type since their proofs rely on the regularity lemma. Recently, avoiding use of the regularity lemma, Fox, He and Wigderson (2021) obtain several Ramsey goodness results involving books. Building upon the work of Fox, He and Wigderson (2021), we show that a conjecture of Fox, He and Wigderson (2021) ``roughly'' holds for many cases. The main novelty is that the proof avoids the use of the regularity lemma, so that the bounds on the parameters are not of tower-type. Joint with Chunchao Fan.
