       夏先伟，教授，博士生导师，江苏省杰青获得者。2010年博士毕业于南开大学组合数学中心,主要研究整数分拆、特殊函数。在Math. Comput., Proc. Edinb.Math. Soc., Pacific J. Math.，JNT, Acta Arithm.等国际主流期刊上发表了多篇学术论文。主持多项国家自然科学基金项目

报告摘要：

        Recently, Andrews and Merca studied the truncated version ofEuler's pentagonal number theorem. Their work opened up a new study ontruncated series. Since then, many truncated versions of theta series have beendiscovered. In this talk, we introduce some new results on truncated series.
